Robbie Williams is an English singer and songwriter. His career began as a member of the band “Take That”. They earned six No1 singles and three No1 albums. After many disagreements with the management and the group members, at the age of 21, he left the band and started a solo career. His first solo album Life Thru a Lens was released in 1997. Nine albums followed. In 2010 Robbie reunited with “Take That” and the album “Progress” was released, the fastest selling album since 2000. But, Robbie continued his solo career, selling 18.9 million albums and 5.4 million singles in UK as a solo artist. He is currently 40 years old.

Biography:
was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England on February 13, 1974. His parents divorced when he was 3 years old, so he grew up with his mother and stepsister.He performed in local plays and watched his father’s performance. But when he was 16, his mother noticed an article in the local newspaper for a boy band audition and suggested him to try. So, he became the youngest member to join “Take That”. But, after the band’s success, he became the best selling British solo artist in United Kingdom and won 17 BRIT Awards. He is married with the Turkish American actress Ayda Field since 2010. The couple has a daughter and a son. He is also known for the charity work in his hometown, where streets are named after him.
